Office 365 and Multi-factor Authentication

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an additional security measure which is available as part of Office 365 - typically it works by sending a code to your phone when you sign in to your Office 365.

This can cause a problem when you want to link your Donorfy to Office 365 as the sending code to your phone process is not supported.

Instead, you can create app passwords and use that password (rather than your normal password) when connecting your Donorfy to Office 365 - see 'To create another app password' in this article

Important - if you turn off MFA then all app passwords get deleted - you will need to create a new app password and reconnect your Donorfy to Office 365.
